Luigi
Cavallaro, chef and owner of Luigi’s
Catering Company, has been in the
catering business since 1979. He graduated
from the Culinary School of Art in
Merano, Italy. He then furthered his
skills in top hotels in Italy, France,
and Germany. During his military service
in the 1980s, Luigi cooked in Beirut,
Lebanon for the Italian paratroopers.
After completing his military service,
he opened two successful restaurants
in beautiful Malgesine, Italy on Garda
Lake.
After a vacation in Colorado in 1991,
Luigi decided that that it was time
for a change and moved to Denver.
This is where he met his wife, Maria.
In 1996, after Luigi’s family was
growing bigger, they decided to move
to Tampa, FL where Maria’s family
lived. After working three years as
a chef at Ristorante Francesco, Luigi
decided to begin his own catering
company – Luigi’s Catering.
It has been five years now, as well
as a couple more additions to the
family. Luigi is here to make your
event the most memorable.
